7 Outdated Shoe Trends Our Editors Are Ditching This Season

Nothing lets you visualize how much you own quite like a move, something I did last weekend. As expected, I was shocked to see the sheer amount of pieces I had somehow stored away in my 400 square foot apartment when I went to pack my things, most of which are fashion related in some way. or another. But most breathtaking of all was my shoe collection. Knowing that I can’t exactly bring more than 50 pairs of sandals, boots, flats, sneakers and more into my new space, I undertook a closet cleaning of epic proportions, and I didn’t do it alone.

To help me get in the right mindset for the job at hand, I asked a few of my fellow Who What Wear editors to share the outdated shoe trends they’re getting ready to part with this season. And as always, they did not disappoint. From chunky, lug-soled sandals to sky-high platforms, check out the shoe trends the WWW team isn’t bringing with them this summer. Don’t forget to take notes. I know I did.
