Even after his death, Prince remains one of the most influential singers in the world. Amid his successful career, he endured failed marriages and short-lived relationships. Return on the meetings and the married life of the musician.
Prince rose to fame in the music industry due to his colorful and androgynous demeanor and outstanding vocal range. Among his most famous albums was “Purple Rain”, which served as the soundtrack to the 1984 film of the same name.
Sadly, Prince passed away in 2016 from an accidental drug overdose. If not for his untimely demise, the music legend would have turned 64 on June 4, 2022.

PRINCE’S ORDINARY LOVE LIFE: FROM KIM BASINGER TO MADONNA AND CARMEN ELECTRA
Prince’s romantic relationships sparked a lot of controversy, and high-profile women who dated the famous musician often became his muses.
Besides being known for his past marriages, Prince has dated pop singers, models, and a host of other beautiful women over the years.
Among Prince’s notable banter was Madonna. Prince briefly dated the Queen of Pop in 1985, around the time they collaborated on Madonna’s hit song “Love Song.”
However, Madonna reportedly left Prince after meeting actor Sean Penn, whom she married later that year. Prince’s short-lived romance with Madonna led him to date another actress.
Prince dated actress and model Kim Basinger in 1989 when she starred in the movie “Batman,” where the late singer worked and provided the film’s soundtrack.
However, the couple’s relationship did not prosper, as Basinger later married actor Alec Baldwin. Basinger held no resentment after parting ways with Prince, adding that they both shared “great memories” together.
Prince reportedly dated actress and singer Carmen Electra. It’s unclear when the rumored pair started dating, although it was believed they dated in the early 1990s before Electra released their 1993 album.
The two singers had also collaborated with the music. Prince gave the actress her on-screen name, which propelled her to stardom. Electra’s old name was Tara Leigh Patrick.
Besides Electra, Prince is said to have dated more women and well-known female celebrities – Anna Fantastic, Charlene Friend, Sheila E, Sherilyn Fenn, Vanessa Marcile and Vanity.
He was also romantically linked to Misty Copeland, Nona Gaye, Apollonia, Susan Moonsie, Susannah Melvoin, Delilah, and Bria Valente.
Despite the long list of women he dated, the late artist was married twice – to dancer and actress Mayte Garcia and to Canadian charity worker Manuela Testolini.
Garcia and Prince met backstage at one of the late musician’s concerts after seeing a video of her belly dancing. They married on Valentine’s Day in 1996 but divorced in 2000.

In 2001, Prince, then 43, met Testolini in Minneapolis while working for the nonprofit Love4OneAnother. Shortly after they met, he married Testolini, who was 24 at the time.
Prince’s marriage to his much younger wife only lasted five years, as Testolini filed for an out-of-court divorce from the music superstar in 2006.
DID PRINCE HAVE CHILDREN?
Prince’s marriage to Garcia made him a father of two. However, Prince was unable to enjoy fatherhood as his first son, Amiir, died shortly after birth due to Pfeiffer’s syndrome.
After the loss of Amiir, Garcia got pregnant again, but she later had a miscarriage. The pain of losing two children prompted Garcia and Prince to end their marriage.
Garcia and Prince were unable to deal with the deaths of their children. “It took me at least 15 years to get over it, and I still miss my son today,” she said.
