But things seem to have improved for AFL glamor couple Nadia and Jimmy Bartel in the three years since their split.
Nadia, 37, showed her support for her ex-husband on the day of the AFL Grand Final on Saturday as she settled in to watch the match with the couple’s sons.

She posted photos and Instagram of their boys Aston and Henley ‘puffing up’ for the Sydney Swans vs Geelong Cats showdown at the MCG.
Jimmy played 305 games for Geelong from 2002 to 2016 and was part of Channel Seven’s commentary team for Saturday’s game.
Their eldest son Aston looked like his father’s mini-me in a Geelong hoodie, while his little brother Henley wore an official club beanie.

Although she didn’t mention Jimmy in her posts, her vocal support for her ex-husband’s former club suggests the Bartels’ once-frosty relationship may be starting to improve.
Jimmy and Nadia tied the knot in 2014, having met at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in 2008 and getting engaged in 2012.
The couple announced their split in August 2019.

At the time, Nadia was reportedly “blindsided” by the split.
Jimmy’s son moved on with Melbourne socialite Lauren Mand, but their relationship didn’t last. He is now dating a woman named Amelia Shepperd.
The Bartels share custody of the Aston and Henley sons.
