Shaquayle Cuyler has been arrested after police say she pepper sprayed the inside of a school bus with 24 students on board.
Action News Jax spoke with a man who didn’t want to be identified on camera, but says he saw it all unfold.
“Well first of all, I think that’s a crazy thing to do,” the eyewitness said. “I took my grandson to the bus stop…and noticed her discussing something with the bus driver.”
The witness says he doesn’t know why Cuyler did this, but adds that she once had a disagreement with someone inside the apartment complex.

He says she even threatened to spray him with pepper spray on Tuesday morning, and he feels bad that it happened to the kids.
“The children are innocent in this situation, and she put them all in danger by doing this,” the eyewitness said.
A police report says Cuyler is the parent of a student. He also says she confronted the bus driver and bus monitor before spraying.
All the children were treated on the spot and then taken to school.
The driver and the monitor had to go to the hospital.
“I would like to see her pay the price for putting these children in danger,” says the eyewitness.
Cuyler faces charges of battery, criminal trespassing and child cruelty.
