Tamara Mellon taps Helena Christensen for Fall 22 campaign

Oh my! Helena Christensen shows off her legendary modeling skills as Tamara Mellon’s newest campaign star. Released today, the series sees the Danish icon hit the streets of New York in styles including the Trinity Mid-Calf boot and Limelight heels. Luxury shoemaker Mellon says she originally met Christensen when she was British vogue editor. “I first met Helena while working on a British Vogue shoot in Venice in the 90s, very early in my fashion career. I have always admired Helena’s work and her exceptional personal achievements – to me, her elegance and unique sense of style make her the epitome of the Tamara Mellon woman, which made her a natural candidate for our campaign F/W’22. Feast your eyes on the sizzling campaign, below:

Covers of Michelle Yeoh City & Country September issue

Actress Michelle Yeoh stars in an opulent high fashion series for City & Country latest edition. Dressed by Cristina Ehrlich and photographed by Ruven Afanador, the 60-year-old talks about potential wedding plans for her fiancé Jean Todt after two decades together, her debut in beauty pageants (she won Miss Malaysia in 1983), her own stunts , and how Quentin Tarantino convinced her to come out of retirement. “I have to say, Quentin, he’s tenacious. He is who he is today because he is full of passion and love, so he wore me out,” she said of the director. Take a look inside the shoot below, and grab the issue from newsstands August 23.

& Other Stories collaborates with AWAKE Mode

Here’s one for your radar: as part of its co-lab series, & Other Stories is set to unveil a collection featuring former Harper’s Bazaar Russia Natalia Alaverdian, editor of London-based sustainable brand AWAKE Mode. If you haven’t discovered Alaverdian’s work yet — and I mean, how could you miss the deconstructed skirts that Instagrammers can’t seem to get enough of — then it’s time to get acquainted. The collaboration will see a 14-piece collection of 12 ready-to-wear pieces and two accessories launching in October. Watch this place!
