DIY Wallabies Player Ratings vs Argentina Game 1

One of the Wallabies’ best away wins in years saw them start the Rugby League with a bang, with a 41-26 comeback win over Argentina.

The never-ending performance came despite a 10-19 halftime deficit and the devastating loss to Quade Cooper to a year-end Achilles injury.

So what better way to show your appreciation for the 23 Golden Warriors than by ranking each one?.

You don’t have to rate every player – if you haven’t seen enough performance from someone or don’t think they’ve been on the pitch long enough for you to pass judgement, just leave it blank and it won’t affect his score.

If you need a rough guide to what each score means, here’s what we’re going for.

1. If he hadn’t played, the team would have been better off. Negatively affected team performance. May God John Eales have mercy on his soul.
2. Anonymous. Was he even there?
3. Did some things you would expect of a player, but did a whole bunch of other things that sucked.
4. Was passable in patches, but not up to par in a game of such importance.
5. Played his part without anything really noticeable happening.
6. Good.
7. Pretty good, actually.
8. Very well.
9. Perfect.
10. Extraordinary. Calling them man of the match would be an insult.

Was Cooper’s electric first half enough to send him to the ER with a top rating? Has Folau Fainga’a ever played better for the Wallabies? And what about the two debutants, Jed Holloway and Matt Gibbon?

If you’re ready to get ranked, just go to the form below and make your choices!
