EU member states are set to have their gas storage facilities filled to 80% capacity by November 1, as the bloc braces for possible further disruptions and a spike in demand during the winter, Reuters reported. European gas storage facilities were 70.54% full earlier this week, according to data from Gas Infrastructure Europe released on Thursday. This level was above the five-year average of 70.32%.
