Here’s what Republicans will deliver when we take over the House

When you’re shopping for groceries or paying your electricity bill, you might be wondering, “Can I afford this?” Millions of Americans are asking this question because reckless government spending by Democrats has led to record inflation and led us into a recession.

When you watch local news, you may feel less safe in your community. You are not alone. Under the Biden administration, we have had the deadliest years for violent crime and drug overdoses.

Just as we see the rule of law collapsing in our cities, we see it collapsing at our borders. This week, President Joe Biden broke the record for the most illegal border crossings in a fiscal year: more than 2 million encounters at the southern border in 11 months.

And the prospect of your children falling further behind in school is heartbreaking. Government-mandated lockdowns and mask mandates have wiped out 20 years of student gains in reading and math.

The White House and the Democratic majority in Congress control Washington. This is their file. Yet they have no intention of fixing it.

But Republicans have a plan for a new leadership to get our country back on track. It’s called the commitment to America.

House Republicans are committed to providing a strong economy, allowing you to feed your family and heat your home without breaking the bank. The Pledge to America stops Washington’s wasteful spending to lower the price of groceries, gas, cars and housing and stop the rising national debt.

It also prioritizes cutting oil and gas permit processing times in half, reducing energy costs, and creating well-paying jobs by unleashing reliable and abundant American-made energy. And it’s modernizing outdated regulations to expand American manufacturing, strengthen our supply chain, and end our reliance on China for critical products.

Of course, we cannot have lasting prosperity without public safety. To secure our southern border, we will end capture and release loopholes, invest in effective border enforcement, and deploy technology to stop the endless flow of illegal immigration and drugs under Biden that has turned every city into a border town.

To reduce crime, we will support 200,000 new law enforcement officers with hiring bonuses, permanently criminalize illicit fentanyl, and crack down on lenient prosecutors. If woke district attorneys aren’t doing their job, they don’t deserve another penny of federal money.

As we work towards a safe country with a strong economy, we also want a future based on freedom, where children come first and our constitutional rights are protected. We will advance the Parents’ Bill of Rights to provide real transparency and accountability, recoup learning loss from school closures, champion fairness in athletics by ensuring only biological women can compete in sports and expanding school choice so that more than one million more children can attend the school their parents know is the right one for them. America’s future depends on excellence in education and the respect of caring parents and teachers.

Finally, Republicans will give you responsible government, with no politicians playing by a different set of rules. The Pledge to America champions policies aimed at restoring voter confidence in Congress, starting with ending Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s proxy voting abuse of power that allowed 90% of Democrats to vote. the Chamber to be paid without having to show up for work.

It also restores the House as a check on the Biden administration’s incompetence and abuse of power through vigorous oversight. We are committed to investigating issues that deserve scrutiny, including the politicization of science that has led to government-mandated lockdowns and school closures, the militarization of the Justice Department, the botched removal of Afghanistan which created 13 new Gold Star families and the potential conflicts of interest related to the business dealings of the President’s family.

By taking action every day to deliver a strong economy, a secure nation, a future built on freedom, and responsible government, House Republicans will put our nation back on the path to long-term success.

This is our commitment to America. And in a Congress returned to the American people, we will do everything in our power to make that a reality.
