Home and Away: Jacqui Purvis wants Felicity’s character to die ‘a really intense, bloody death’

The promos for the new season of Home and Away show beloved character Felicity Newman trapped inside a burning car.

And while actress Jacqui Purvis remains tight-lipped about the outcome, she told Yahoo! Lifestyle If things were going badly, she would have loved to leave the series in style.

‘[I’d want to be] killed… I want a really dramatic death, like a really, intense, bloody death, like everyone is crying,” she told the publication.

Jacqui was then asked in the interview how long she planned to hang out in Summer Bay – a topic she quickly sidestepped.

‘Who knows?’ she answered shyly.

“I mean, you’re being offered this role, this experience and as an actor, it’s amazing… you act every day, which is an actor’s dream and having consistent work is very rare. in this industry,” she added.

One of the biggest challenges Jacqui faced this year was Felicity’s on-screen marriage to Tane, played by Ethan Browne.

“It was cool, but also really weird, because it’s such a time in someone’s life and I’ve never been married before,” she said.

‘I was like, I have nothing to connect to… I have nothing to use as a reference. So I was trying to figure out, yeah, how would you act in a marriage?

One of the biggest challenges Jacqui faced this year was Felicity’s on-screen marriage to Tane.

Jacqui arrived in Summer Bay to a positive reception playing the complicated role of Felicity, police officer Cash Newman’s sister.

Writers have since implicated her in a wide range of storylines, from being involved in a kidnapping to questioning her life after a serious car accident.
