Ivana Trump’s 3 adult children mourn the ‘incredible woman’ who raised them as a single mother

The world mourns Ivana Trump, a woman who went from just an immigrant to building a business empire. Along with her titles as a renowned businesswoman, former model, book author and health enthusiast, she is also a loving mother and grandmother.

Ivana Trump died Thursday afternoon from cardiac arrest. TMZ reports that an employee entered her Manhattan home and found her lying on the right side of her second-floor stairs, unresponsive.

A day earlier, on Wednesday, she had passed by her favorite restaurant Altesi Ristorante, where she ordered a “very, very small amount of food”. Owner Paola Alavian remembers they had a conversation every day.

Nothing seemed out of the norm, and they chatted for a while, as they always did whenever she visited him. However, he also revealed that Ivana looked exhausted despite looking healthy. He told The Sun amidst tears:

“Her health seemed normal, she may have looked a bit tired, but otherwise she seemed fine.”

Ivana was a world-class athlete, a caring mother and friend, and a force to be reckoned with in business circles. However, she didn’t always start at the top. She went through the ups and downs to achieve her American dream.

Born in what is now the Czech Republic, Ivana’s father was an electrical engineer and her mother a telephone operator. After college, she met and married Austrian ski instructor Alfred Winklmayr. Despite the failure of the union, it helped her to obtain an Austrian passport.

She then moved to Canada and settled in Montreal, where she worked as a ski instructor and, later, a model. Once in 1976, during one of her modeling gigs in New York, she met her future husband, Donald Trump.

Ivana remembers Trump as smart and funny and an all-American guy. They exchanged vows in 1977 and became parents shortly after welcoming their three babies, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump.

Ivanka was a doting mother to her children, and although she was a successful businesswoman, she considered motherhood one of her most notable accomplishments. The love she shared with her children is evident in the memorial they gave her after her passing.

Ivana took to Twitter to pay homage to his beloved mother, referrer to her as “brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny”. She remembered her mother’s amazing life and how she wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to dance and laugh.

Eric remembered her as a wonderful woman and a survivor who fled communism in her home country and settled in the United States. He recalled the life lessons they learned from their mother, writing:

“She taught her children courage and tenacity, compassion and determination. She will be sadly missed by her mother, her three children and her ten grandchildren.

The bond between Ivana and her children was undeniable but unsurprising. Ivana said their bond was their most prized possession, and it was easy to see why.

Even though she rose through the career ladder to become one of the most admirable businesswomen, she didn’t hang up her maternity coat. As soon as her babies were young, they accompanied her to work and experienced firsthand how she worked and earned the respect of her employees.

Asked about the secret of her parenthood, Ivana revealed that there was no magic recipe. She told her children to always do the right thing and encouraged them to get involved in sports and be competitive. She also made them versatile by introducing them to arts and different cultures.

She taught them to be determined and diligent in whatever they did. She said: “I told the kids not to lie, cheat or steal. Don’t smoke, do drugs or drink.”

After work, she would sit with them at dinner and help them with their homework before slipping into a Versace dress and rushing off to a charity event. She shared:

“The children and I celebrated, traveled and cried together.”

Make no mistake about it. Raising three children while working was no picnic. Ivana admitted that it was difficult, although she had lots of help from her nannies.

Ivana admitted to being responsible for raising the children before she and Trump divorced and even after their separation, as she had sole custody of them. She made the tough decisions about all aspects of their lives, including learning, schools, travel plans and allowances. She recalled:

“When everyone finished college, I said to my ex-husband, ‘Here’s the finished product. Now it’s up to you. “”

Although this type of parenting could have gone wrong on many levels, Ivana seems to have done a fantastic job. Today, his sons are remarkable family men who co-run a multi-million business.

On the other hand, Ivanka is a wife, mother, clothing business owner and author who actively works to improve the lives of women and children.

The three have repeatedly received praise for their intelligence, composure, dedication and confidence. Others consider them Trump’s finest accomplishments.

Being in the limelight and coming from a broken marriage, the lives of Trump’s children could have gone wrong. Luckily, according to Ivana, they grew up into healthy adults of which she is immensely proud.

Donald Trump Jr., Ivana and Trump’s first child started working in his father’s business after college and authored two books, which saw him hit the world’s bestseller list. New York Times.

Far from his professional achievements, he is also a family man. He married model Vanessa Trump in 2005 and welcomed their five children together; Donald III, Kai, Spencer, Tristan and Chloe.

Sadly, their marriage ended in 2018. Donald Jr. then found love again with Kimberly Guilfoyle, and the father of five recently announced their engagement.

After completing graduate school, Ivanka joined Donald Jr. at the Trump Organization. However, she followed her passion for fashion, started her clothing, jewelry and shoe business and ventured into modeling.

She also served as one of her father’s advisers during his presidency. She married her husband Jared Kushner in 2009, and the two share three children Arabella, Joseph and Theodore.

Eric is the youngest of the Trump-Ivana children, and like his siblings, he also worked at the Trump Organization. He is also a father and married his wife, Lara Trump, in 2014. The couple are blessed with two babies, Carolina and Eric.
