Luxury house GUCCI celebrates the 75th anniversary of its bamboo handle bags, with a short film directed by Makoto Nagahisa. The film tells an ancient Japanese story titled Taketori Monogatari (The story of the bamboo cutter) in a contemporary way. movie stars Hikari Mitsushima, Aoi Yamadaand Eita Nagayama wear looks from Gucciit is love parade Collection, with Bamboo 1947 and Gucci Diana Bags. The Bamboo the bag was designed by the founder of the brand Guccio Gucci. In 1947, when traditional materials were hard to find, the designer and the Florentine artisans of the brand decided to use light and resistant bamboo for the handle of a new bag. Gucci Dianaa shopping bag with bamboo handles, was presented for the first time by the House in 1991. Alessandro Michele reinvented the two bags for the Maison’s signature Beloved lines.
