Luxury house GUCCI celebrates the 75th anniversary of its bamboo handle bags, with a short film directed by Makoto Nagahisa. The Bamboo the bag was designed by the founder of the brand Guccio Gucci. In 1947, when traditional materials were hard to find, the designer and the Florentine artisans of the brand decided to use light and resistant bamboo for the handle of a new bag.
