Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales celebrated their wedding yesterday.
In honor of their 12th wedding anniversary, the royals shared a never-before-seen photo on their official Instagram page. In the image, which was captured by Matt Porteous last year, the couple smile on a cycling trip in Norfolk, laying their arms around each other.
The two royals dressed casually for the photo, Kate choosing a semi-sheer white eyelet top, dark blue jeans and white trainers. She added a brown shoulder bag and mirrored sunglasses perched on her head. Meanwhile, William wore a navy Ralph Lauren shirt with classic blue jeans, a black belt and navy running sneakers.
“12 years ❤️,” the couple captioned the sweet photo.
The new photo is part of a series of photographs that Porteous has previously captured of the Wales family, which have been shared over the past year. For Mother’s Day in the UK last March, Kate shared a lovely image of herself smiling with her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis as the group of four sat in a tree.
George and Louis wore short-sleeved shirts and shorts for the family photo, while Charlotte chose an adorable denim sweater dress with cap sleeves trimmed in red trimmings.
The family’s 2022 Christmas card featured a picture of the five family members, showing the group walking through a garden – potentially part of their home, Adelaide Cottage in Windsor – as they all held hands, with William framing the children on the left and Kate on the right.
