Miguel’s wife Nazanin Mandi files for divorce after three years of marriage

Miguel’s marriage to model wife Nazanin Mandi is over, three years after the couple said ‘yes’ to each other.

Mandi, 36, filed for divorce from Sure Thing singer, 36, on Tuesday. The actress reportedly cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and said the couple did not have a prenup, in documents obtained by TMZ.

It comes after the couple – who have been together for a total of 18 years – reconciled earlier this year, following their split in 2021.

Nazanin did not list a date of separation from Miguel – born Miguel Jontel Pimentel – on the documents, simply writing “to be determined” for “to be determined”.

The couple were last seen together on July 18 while attending the world premiere of “Nope” at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California.

The dynamic duo appeared in high spirits at the time and posed together on the red carpet, with Miguel wearing black vinyl pants and a short-sleeved button-up, and Nazanin showing off her stellar figure in a racy black leather dress.

They had no children together.

The duo – who are high school sweethearts – previously split in September 2021, with their rep breaking the news at the time.

‘After 17 years together, Miguel and Nazanin Mandi have decided to go their separate ways and have been for some time now. The couple wish each other good luck,’ the couple’s rep told People.

However, they appeared to be back after crooner Adorn shared a series of snaps of them with the caption ‘Love heals’. Proud of Us’ in February.

The former lovebirds met when they were 18, with Nazanin interviewing Miguel while he was promoting his first music video.

She revealed their cute encounter to Vogue in 2018: “I asked him a question that wasn’t on my Q&A, which was, ‘All the ladies wanna know, do you have a girlfriend?’ And then he smiled and said, ‘No, but I’m looking for one.’

They confirmed their engagement in January 2016 after Nazanin was seen wearing a large diamond ring on her ring finger.

They obtained their marriage license in November 2018 and married on November 24, 2018 at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley, California.

In August 2018, Nazanin shared snaps from her first date with Miguel, born Miguel Jontel Pimentel.

The model/actress/entrepreneur beauty wrote a heartfelt caption alongside the black-and-white snap; the stunner wrote: ‘Sept. 2005…our first date and I really thought it would be our last. Clearly underage, we decided to use our fake IDs and head to the club.

Nazanin wrote that they drank “several glasses of champagne”, which made her sick and that she “vomited in my leather jacket, in her friends’ car and in my pocket”.

Still, she said, “I’m usually extremely prepared, but he made me feel safe, so my guard was completely down. I remember all I kept thinking was omg I messed up, he’ll never want to talk to me again…it was fun while it lasted.

Nazanin went on to say that he took her to his apartment and put her in the shower while he went to get food for them.

Adding: ‘I apologized all night while he was laughing and holding me and saying relax… I’m not going anywhere. Over a decade later, many life lessons and a few vomit filled nights lol he still got me.
