Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale has been a major event for the company and influencers since the 2010s. fashion company reports that this year, the retailer lowered its affiliate commission rate to 3.5% from 7% previously, reducing influencer interest in creating content for the occasion. “It’s not as exciting as it used to be,” said Anna Jane Wisniewski, a fashion blogger. “There aren’t a lot of new things.
