BERLIN, August 16 (Reuters) – Pilots at Lufthansa LHAG.DE Budget carrier Eurowings will vote on whether to hold walkouts after several rounds of wage negotiations failed to lead to an agreement, pilots’ union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) said on Tuesday.
Voting will run until August 31, VC said in a statement, adding that the move does not mean negotiations cannot continue.
Pilots of Lufthansa’s flagship carrier already voted in favor of strikes in July, but no walkouts have been announced so far, talks with VC continue.
