Adam, 43, later admitted to being “inappropriate” with his online behavior but denied ever cheating.
“I showed poor judgment by speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY flirtatious way,” he wrote in a Sept. 19 Instagram Story post. “I didn’t have an affair, nonetheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable time in my life. I addressed this and took proactive steps to address it with my family.”
The ‘Girls Like You’ singer added, “My wife and my family are all I care about in this world. Being so naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that really matters to me has been the biggest mistake I may have made. I’ll never do it again. We’ll get through this. And we’ll get through this together.”
