A police officer was stabbed in the shoulder while working in Queensland.
The senior constable had been called to report a disturbance at Jones Street in Rothwell, Brisbane at 9.25am on Monday.
Police allege a 30-year-old man armed with a knife lunged at the officer and stabbed him in the shoulder.

The officer was taken to hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
The 30-year-old self-inflicted injuries to his stomach.
Redcliffe resident Leah Whetton described the chaos as emergency services rushed to the scene.
“I saw all these police cars coming at the same time,” she said.
“I’ve never seen police cars fly around a bend like that with their sirens on.”
Ms Whetton said police tasered a man during the incident.
“He didn’t drop it, he just took it,” she said.
“I saw another man jump over a police cruiser and fall to the ground, then I saw an officer come out of the property with a bandage on his shoulder.”
