Video shows large alligator eating another alligator in Silver Springs

It’s been known that alligators can eat other alligators, but you might not really understand it until you see it.
Tammy Shaw saw him perform on August 4 in Silver Springs in Marion County.

Shaw said she was paddling through the spring on her inflatable paddleboard when she came across the encounter.
“I was fascinated by the size of the alligator and the one it was eating,” Shaw said. “I wasn’t too scared because he was obviously busy, but when he went underwater I was a bit worried about where he was going to pop up.”
Shaw posted the video to a Facebook group called Alligators of Florida.
A commenter on the video said, “I didn’t know they would eat one of their own,” while another replied, “Me neither.”
